the hotel is in a lovely location near the fine Dunge Valley Gardens, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll, and the nearby Toddbrook Reservoir offers beautiful views that are just a short walk away.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the location was good in the middle of the city.

Loved our well decorated and nice styled rooms, plus the staff was helpful. The hotel was near to many walking areas, restaurant and the pub thanks to its magnificent location. Plus, it was 15 minutes by car to a botanical garden. The whole experience was very pleasant from start to finish, would be happy to recommend.

The room was spacious and clean. Parking was a bit tight, and the breakfast timing is early for a weekend getaway. It's a nice place for a couple of nights, but the food service could be more accommodating with dietary needs.

We had a canny time, like. The food was top-notch, especially the seafood risotto—absolutely lush! Only downside was the small car park, but that's nowt to put us off. Can't wait to come back and sample more of the menu!

The remote location could be a bother without transportation options!!! A more accommodating attitude towards room service would definitely enhance guest experience!!! Lack of dining options nearby is quite disappointing!!!

The room felt spacious with a clean atmosphere. The staff stood out for being not just friendly but genuinely knowledgeable about local attractions. A lovely touch was the variety of teas and coffees available, including decaf, complemented by bottled water and milk in the fridge.

The only downside was the limited parking options, which could be inconvenient.

Just an optimal selection for a short stint in Highpeak Junction with good value for cost. The outdoor area was nice despite its simplicity, nice for a peaceful moment outside. Make sure to arrive early if you want to snag parking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Swan Inn with my sister. The staff were consistently amiable and attentive. The location is lovely, close to many walking areas, restaurants, and breakfast spots, as well as the pub.

The food in the dining room was absolutely amazing! Plus, being right in the city center was super convenient 👌.

My room had a super comfy bed, a fridge, an electric kettle, and great heating. They really went above and beyond, I'll definitely stay here again next time! 😊.
